Denia’s Marina is a yachting harbour recently built and it has any service which might be needed; eight buildings of well cared for architecture offer sailors a commercial range that little ports offer in the Mediterranean Sea. Concrete fixed wharfs 4 and 5 metres wide, 404 moorings of up to 50 metres, electricity, drinkable water, satellite dish, telephone, fax, petrol station, watched parking, … It enjoys a privileged geographical location, 38º 51´ N 0º 07´ E, with endless beaches of white sand at North, steep cliffs at South, dotted with creeks and multicoloured bottoms perfect for diving, sheltered caves and places to anchor, nearby fishing and yachting harbours in Javea, Altea, Moraira, ... It is about 3 hours and a half away from Madrid or Barcelona taking the highway and less than an hour away from international airports of Valencia and Alicante. Balearia sea lines offer fast ferry link services to Ibiza, S. Antonio, Formentera and Palma de Mallorca. We are very close, any occasion is good to feel that the wind is driving our boat, going back to remote times and seeing the same rocky cliffs, hidden caves and ivory sand that thousand of years ago Phoenician, Greek, Roman and more recently Arab sailors occupied leaving a mark that still exists in its charming fishermen villages, its orange trees valleys, its terraced summits sown with cherry and almond trees. The sun that enraptures our senses, goes along with us during more than 315 days a year and brightens up the views of the port where we moor while we wait for a new day’s run.
